Skype (latest version) slowly eats up CPU and freezes until it crashes completely no matter how many times you start it up. Windows 7 works fine. Wonder what the problem could be.
This is the only workaround i have managed: Default view causes a flash script error that eats cpu and ram until error pops up and you close/stop the script. Once you have recovered from that, separate the huge main panel from your contacts panel. You may have the script start again and it will erro out again. The main thing is to NEVER click "skype home". Once you have the huge panel separated and not on "skype home", close it and never ever let it open again. Works for now.
