Anybody on here got a BIOS recovery tool to mend bad flashes ?

    Depending on BIOS and depending on whether you flashed and failed the boot block, you should still be able to re-flash it

    Award BIOSes seek a floppy drive with DOS and an auotexec.bat file to reflash, AMI can seek the flasher directly I believe based on name

    Try these things first:
    - reset CMOS (either via jumper or battery removal)
    - unplug all devices except FDD, RAM, CPU & start PC
    - try the secret key presses to get floppy to seek (Ctrl-Home I think for Award)
