By the end of this year, we will only have 2mb total.

Be like GeoCities all over again (remember 2mb free space back in the day)

I have 1.2 tb of space from one drive free. Used office free for a month than cancelled sub and they never disable my 1tb of one drive.

At the start of november 2015, Microsoft announced that, due to "abuse", they would be reducing the amount of free onedrive storage to 1TB for office365 subscribers and 5GB for everyone else.

A month later, due to "customer feedback", they backtracked (partially) and announced that they would allow current onedrive users to keep their free storage, but only if they explicitely asked to. Microsoft provided a link to a webpage where you could specify that you wanted to keep the free storage you currently had. You had until the end of january of this year to do so. It is now too late.

All of the above has been extensively advertised and discussed on all the major tech news websites for the past five months. So this guy will be keeping his free 30GB of onedrive storage past july.

As for those who've been living under a rock for the past half-year, well, tough luck.
