I flashed slic2.1 and installed from hard disk in winXP OS.Of course, I followed the steps such as copy bootmgr to C:etc. But when reset to install win7, once "starting windows" came out, Damn! blue screen! Wrong code is OXOOOOOOOA, I tried twice, the same problem?

    what's wrong?

Anyone succesfully installed Win7 32 bit on hp dv1618ts?

Failed again! But not blue screen again. It suggested required 512MRAM,but my laptop only 256M.

Thanks anyway! My laptop is really out of date!

That's the system requirements for Win7 32-bit, you need 512MB or more (that is if you laptop supports more memory.)

I don't know if there is a way to modify the installer so it can accept less than 512MB, but even so, 7 would run, but also would be slowish on your laptop becuase of the limited memory.
