Anyone tried downgrading Windows 8 Pro to Windows 7 Professional?

    I heard that Microsoft is allowing downgrade. Anyone tried? If ever I'll just go back to Windows 8 Pro if Intel will release compatible drivers for my hardware.

    Even for Intel system drivers for my Lenovo T400, I was able to install Windows 7 drivers which have worked 100% so far where there weren't Windows 8 drivers available from Intel or through Lenovo. Maybe you already tried this; but if not it's an idea.

    how did you do that? did you modified the inf file?
