pfft... Been using Win 10 as my main driver for months. This laptop started with Win 7. Since then its been upgraded like this: 7-8-8.1-9871-9901-9926-10036. When you know what your doing, your not afraid of an upgrade! Btw, this laptop gets used about 12 hours a day. 8 hours of network admin, 4 hours of play.

your running a beta......is basically Swiss Cheese....sounds like u want to get hacked. all this releases are "testing purposes only"
I do, no big problems as far as now, didn't get that start menu bug, updates went fine. As told before mail, people, calendar don't work. I get an error when restarting but doesn't mean anything. Maps does work for me. and has train stations I needed that! off-topic: Cortana has more jokes! just type "tell me a joke" and they come up cheers
Lol. Hacked? Please tell me how I am more susceptible now than before? Running Win10 makes me no more susceptible than when I was running Win 8.1...Its practically the same code. Besides being "hacked", I am well aware of the caveats and fully accept them. Plus all of this "keylogger/telemetry" scaremongering doesn't bother me either.
That restart error. What exactly is it? can you post a screen shot? Does it go away easily or causes PC to get stuck?
I get an error every restart or shut down as well but can't screenshot it unless in VM. Something to do with SystemSettingsBroker.exe. Unfortunately Event Viewer is unable to pick it up either due to when it happens.
it goes away fast, tried taking a picture with phone, it's some instruction set (bunch of number and lettersxbunchofnumberandletters) i think tried restarting to take a picture 4 times it didn't show up now its not doing it
I'm not using 10036 at all since it's not an official build release. However, I've been using 9926 entirely as my main OS since release. Oh, and I'm absolutely satisfied with how it's been running. Oddly enough, 9926 has been really more solid and stable than Windows 8.1 Update 1 on my system. I'm waiting for the next official build to upgrade to that and keep the fast ring running.

Ever since Vista Beta 2, most Windows build are good enough to be used as main os. I've used pretty much used all released after that as daily drivers with no issue.
