I have a legit Windows 8 Enterprise MAK license but would much rather run the latest 8.1 version. Microsoft to my knowledge has made it so the update does not get offered to 8.0 Enterprise licenses. Is there by chance any way to force the 8.1 update onto Windows 8.0 Enterprise or am I stuck with downloading the 8.1 ISO and using something like KMSpico from now on... or at least until pico stops working too?
If you had a legit enterprise license you never would have asked here. All Ms customers having that license get a new key by default changing 8 to 8.1 enterprises. best is for your case that you stick with MDL solutions
Yes, there is available several Leaked Windows 8.1 Enterprise full isos... they update 8.0 to 8.1 but you either need a NEW MAK Key to Activate or you need to use 1 of the new KMS Activators. you can find all the needed information and links on MDL ..
Touche my friend. Let me correct myself. I have a legit enterprise license from a company I no longer work for. The cvs list of licenses for various MS products is most current up to Windows 8. I left before Windows 8.1 was released and thus is not on my list.
Since you don't have original W8-1E key and maybe KMS access, you have to download ISO, do upgrade installation, download VM KMS Server (with W2012R1) (unfortunatelly I lost the link) and validate against it. Also your upgrade ISO should have EXACT SAME language configuration like original W8-0E otherwise, you will not be able to keep your apps. (So if your W8-0E was base english + W8-0 french language pack installed later, you should use english W8-1E ISO and integrate W8-1 french language pack to it by DISM (BEFORE doing the upgrade of course).
Actually no, I meant VMware W2012SR1 VM with modded BIOS and installed KB for KMS v6. But of course, you can use KMSpico or KMSmicro...
It helps to activate Office 2013 installed on 8.1, not 8.1 itself. And when KMS emulators are out, using VMs isn't a suitable idea.
