Apps fail to open after Updates

    On November 2nd a number of updates were automatically installed on my windows 8.1x86 VL
    It now happens that most of my Apps fail to open.

    Updates installed are KB 2884846-2859675-976002-2883200-2884101-2880289-2902892-2886439

    Please help!

    Uninstall & reinstall the apps.

    After the uninstall/reinstall....reboot.

    I have uninstalled/reinstalled all the mentioned KB's and rebooted, but most of my Apps (the same as before) still fail to open...

    run the following in a Command Window to re-register the Store app:
    powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

    Thanks Paul, I did as you suggested but still no improvement.

    after that command you should uninstall and reinstall the apps which don't work. Start with one just to look if it works

    I followed your suggestion with 2 Apps and it works!! Rest will follow tomorrow

    Have you synchronized your App Licenses?...Your App issues may get resolved by doing that..

    To do this, open the Store app>Settings>App Updates>App Licenses

    Read again. Not KBs, but apps should be uninstalled/reinstalled.

    All Apps working. Thanks!
