One of the knowed issues in 2004 is that some Conexant and old nVidia (version lower than 358.00) drivers cause BSODs. Does someone know if with latest patch tuesday this issue has been soled?
OT - perhaps - : Got KB4557957 yesterday that went into a "Windows Needs to be restarted"- loop which went on for ever without ever installing the patch and then, the patch could not - of course - be uninstalled or deferred.
Do You have such a problem at all? And if so, why don't you want to update the driver? Is there a reason for this? Of course, if this outdated driver is more important, you'll have to make a choice - either upgrade to a newer version of windows or upgrade a driver to a newer. What's the question?
