Just curious from people who would know more than me... I visit a computer recycler regularily and they often get oldish ipads they put in an obsolete pile. I have no idea what/I cant recognize models generations or anything cuz I just dont know. What can you still do with an older ipad, anything worth a darn? Are there issues with jailbreaking any era of ipad (from older to newer), or ones to watch for, or ones to avoid, or ways to do things like unauthorized updates that still work (the way Opencore seems to work for using newer OSX on older Apple hardware or even hackintoshes) if one wants to dabble in games that may only exist for iOS and not android? Anyone have suggestions on what some of the ipad only games would even be that an android user cant play? I know of ipad only applications but that's not the same, I mostly play with AV software and there are ways to use some things as touchscreen control surfaces for some Mac software like virtual faders for audio recording and such. Some of it is older and may be obsolete or have to be findable by other channels but all the hardware I have is 'obsolete' and getting an ipad from a labeled obsolete ipads pile would be more of the same. :^)
