    amoeller...

Please indicate if the flashing was successful and the SLIC was updated to 2.1 on an XPS 410 system.

    RE:

Sorry for the wait. I haven't tried it yet. I will be updating my friend's XPS 410 on Thursday. After that is done I will post saying if it was successful or not.

    It Worked

Everything worked fine. Windows 7 activated. Just let the BIOS updater restart Windows and don't do anything else while you are updating it. Also it takes some time so you have to wait.

    Thanks again!

Flasher worked exactly as you described under XP 32.
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate activated on Dell XPS-410.

Can anyone tell me where to get the original file? It has been deleted from the server listed. If anyone downloaded it, can you send it to me? Thanks.

Awsome work guys. I have been wanting to update mine to 7 for a while to get rid of vista. Will give a try later when I get hom. No real big deal but was wondering if it has slc for win xp. Use that for a few things that didn't work on vista but if not no biggy at all.
