As far as the legitimacy of the key I don't know. It is not illegal to sell them. It is very possible that the keys are Tech Net and MSDN keys that will get blocked soon.

Too cheap to be legit. But buy one, and google the key after you have got it. Paypal should be interested in that, if you want your money back. :)

I have signed up with eBay and PayPal to buy a product key for 7 Ultimate and am waiting for my 4 digit code to arrive.I will let you know if it works ok.I mean you should be able to get a full refund from PayPal if not genuine or the key expires.I have a theory that these keys are from system builders who buy the keys in volume and are selling them off to us for a little profit.

I see you mean not tied to bios, but still oem. Will your win7 details show it as oem, after you use code.

I am sure ms are too looking into why people are selling these on ebay. But at the price not a bad risk.

What does 'Windows Product ID Type: 5' mean? not 5 activations?

    I close here, too.

MDL isn't selling or condoning the selling of any content of this forum.
