are windows 7 pro keys interchangeable between language versions

    Hi folks are windows 7 pro keys interchangeable between different language versions?
    Can you use a Spanish version win 7 pro key on a English version win 7 pro install?
    My Bro :) gave me a Spanish win 7 pro key, but he is not sure if it would work on an English win 7 pro install,
    or would i have to use a English language pack if i installed the Spanish win 7 version?

    From what I understand it shouldn't be a problem. Not sure 100%

    MS don't make keys for different languages.. their keys r global..

    after installing u can add ur languge pack u want..

    You can use the key in any language or any different system(x86/x64), just to be the same version;)
