Hello guys, I've disabled secureboot by purpose since I've multiboot os in my laptop, but by now I've found some update problem from windows defender definition updates, it cause my computer reboot or programs turn off suddenly, check event viewer it's marked red with error message TPM WMI error 1796 secure boot failed to update?
And I already knew by now, I thought my laptop hardware broke or cpu getting heat yesterday ago, but it seems the problem came from that?
Google for the fix and it need to enable secure boot?
Is there any workaround without needs to enable secure boot in bios? Do I need to change to another anti virus?Really annoying with this problem, I need to start over my work when this problem occurs :(

I've always had secure boot disabled and also dual boot with linux. I've never encountered that error message. searching internet there are lots info.. update the BIOS is advised.

The issue is caused by Secure Boot being disabled. Windows Defender and some updates rely on Secure Boot and TPM features for integrity checks. Unfortunately, there’s no guaranteed way to fully bypass this while keeping Secure Boot off.

The most reliable fix is enabling Secure Boot, but temporary or offline updates can help if you need to stay multiboot.
