I have a ASRock N68C-GS FX MotherBoard on order. Could someone please tell me what the part number of the BIOS Chip. I'm talking about ordering a blank chip that can be programmed with the correct BIOS Firmware. Thks for Help with this DSpyder
i saw its 8MB socket spi type.. but socket push in .. not soldered. google N68C-GS FX spi and look in images.
Thks; I looked but couldn't find a blank SPI BIOS Chip for an ASRock N68C-GS FX MotherBoard listed anywhere. It looks to me that, the ASRock N68 series motherboards, Use a MX25L8005PC-15G IC Chip for their SPI BIOSs I have ask if this is the correct Chip for this ASRock MB, maybe I will get an answer back. Having received the motherboard. I now know that it uses a Winbond 25Q80BV SPI 8MBit BIOS Chip. I have ordered some MX25L8005PC-15G Blank Chips and I'm going to give them a try. Thks for everybody's Help
