Asus N50VC I need a modded bios for the Asus N50VC laptop. I am have tried modding with Dell Slic and SLP with the slic tool using the ssv2, ssv3 and dynamic method, but it will not activate. Any help would be appreaciated Thanks
It was mentioned earlier in the SLIC 2.1 sticky - Asus as one of the companies haven't had included any SLIC 2.1 certificate in their new Bioses. There are a few persons who constantly monitor Asus FTP and decode all of their new Bioses - until now no bios contained SLIC 2.1 certificate.
Asus x90 sv Hi everybody, does it mean that if I install Windows 7 on an Asus X90SV it will not work? My experience was, after installing Windows 7, at the end, I get en Big Red ERROR message through all the screen. Is this normal, or can somebody help me ? Many thanks for your help. mmonaco
So how to get that only SLIC 2.1 activation part from that DVD and is there anyone willing to share that part? My Desktop is listed as upgradable and I have W7 already w/ 30 days window. Don't want to install any loader if there is a way to do in Bios Please share. Thanks.
I don't know what you people are saying, but I have old Asus mobo with slic2.1 (2.1 slic was taken from ASUS laptop). If you search bios thread on MDL you'll find it. Cheers
