    Dear friends from MYDIGITALLIFE!!!!
I have had an exhausting problem trying to make a fresh install of Windows 10 on my old big Asus laptop. The laptop model is X93S with a K93SM motherboard. It was designed for Windows 7 when I have bought it around 2012.....
The audio failed to start whatever the audio driver I have tried to install. The device manager showed an error on the high definition audio controller:
    PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_105C1043&REV_05
stating that it was unable to start and had no driver despite having windows 10 uptodate, despite trying to instal all the available audio drivers: Asus's, Intel's, Realtek's, Via's.......I have searched a whole night on the web with no luck when I have found on a Youtube video comment for a similar audio problem on a different Asus laptop the idea that it could be a UEFI bios problem..... So I have changed the bios setting from UEFI to MBR then created a new Rufus usb key for a mbr windows 10 and I have reinstalled the laptop with the same windows 10 but in mbr setting this time....................
The audio has then started without any third party driver as soon as the windows installation has completed.......
    :):):):):):):):):)
I hope that this may help someone.......
