asus lion

    I have an Asus Lion cpu cooler, at the moment is cooling an AMD Phenom 2 with 6 cores at 31 degrees. Will this cooler be good enough for the new Ryzen cpu?

    Thanks Joe, the cooler clamps to the large blck fittings on the MB.

    try it... it might work, just can't tell for sure until you do.
    As far as I know AMD has not changed those clamps in decades.

    On a side note, those Cooler Master Hyper 212 coolers usually go for $30. or less. The only problem with those, they are very big and you'll need a case about 7.5" wide to fit one in. But they are great coolers for the cost
