    Hello,

I want to change my motherboard and I notice these four models:

Asus m5a97 Evo r2.0 and Asus m5a97 r2.0 (without Evo) (UEFI bios)

Gigabyte 990fxa-d3 and Gigabyte 970a-ud3 (AWARD bios)

I would like to know what you think about these motherboards if I want to use them with an AMD FX-6300 processor and which of these two bios can be more easily modified.

    Thanks in advanced.

I'm not expert in AMD mobos, but Award BIOS has more capabilities than UEFI imho... but its more "outdated"

I didn't compare specs, but I use an ASUS M5A97 (1st gen,) and haven't had any trouble using Andy's Tools for the BIOS.

Ok. Thanks to you two for the answers. I keep on looking for information in order to decide which one to buy.
