Do anyone have This notebook (asus M70vm ) Been trying for 3 days to get the slic 2.1 to work on this computer tryed bell and hp slic mod my self and even moders here. Anyone have any ideas hot to fix this problem but vista on 2.0 with asus slic 2.0 worked first time. Thanks MrBeer
Same thing again i don;t know why this laptop is so hard to do but vista works fine on 2.0 even did a format on windows7

Hi, i have an asus m70vm. I tried to mod my bios but it seems i have the same problem. I doesn't have the RTM to test if activation works but i can see with RW everything that the slic is still 2.0 after the flash but in oem id i can see HP and in everest too. I will try with an older bios revision (i used the latest : 210).
I tries to modify my X50SR bios to SLIC 2.1 I haven't managed to get it to work. It looks ok in RW-Everything but it won't activate. Softmodding with the same SLIC2.1 will activate win7. Weird. Will use the softmod for now.
think that we should have a sticky on trouble with slic 2.1. Any coders here know how to fix this problem or why this is happening. thanks
No go going to install vista and see it it works I know how to do bios editing got 4 computers here all work but this asus M70vm. been done about 20 bios flash trying didn;t thing all got same erors.
