Hi! I have an Asus P3V4X with award bios v6.00. Can anyone tell me how to add 48lba support and boot from usb support to this bios? This old board is a project for me but I have very little experience. If there is a modified bios I can flash it. I have even gotten into trouble and had to hot flash. The Asus tuv4x latest bios supports 48bit lba. The two boards are nearly identical. I bought a chip that was flashed with tuv4x bios and installed it in the p3v4x board but that didn't work. I wanted to update my old pc with parts that are the same age but with better functionality which I have done going from 450mhz cpu and 64mb ram intel board to currently 1.4ghz and 2gb ram asus board. I want to load win7 on this computer. I have already flashed it with the slic modded bios. This computer will be part of a win7 wireless homegroup. If there any other mods that can be done please let me know.
