    Hello everyone!
I’m trying to apply SLIC mod for ASUS P8Z77M-PRO (v. 1805) using Phoenixtool 2.14.
I’ve got new BIOS-SLIC (Dymanic method, w/o RW). But when I am trying to flash it I got message “Security verification failed”. Is it possible to avoid this message? Please help.
And one (may be stupid) question – can Phoenixtool "insert" some kind of "virus" (trojan) in my new BIOS? Have anyone checked the result comparing ‘before’ and ‘after’ for any suspicious code? Is it risky?

    sorry for bad eng

use FTK (coderush has it in his signature.. its at PMPatch thread) to make backup of bios.. mod that then flash it back.

Thanks for replies. Permanent SLIC sounds very terribly for me. Is it really 'unremovable'?
How to make backup of BIOS? Damn modern ASUS boards - looks like very difficult to mod.
And what's about getting virus in BIOS after mod, is it possible?

I am completely confused after reading threads about BIOS modding
Phoenix Tool, AMI tool, MMTool and etc.
Can someone tell me which program to use for ASUS P8Z77M-PRO (to add SLIC 2.1). I will be very grateful for an instruction like 1.. 2.. 3.. And modded BIOS must be “security verified” in order to flash it. I just want to do it myself.

Mod with MMTool -> No security problem.
Mod with Phoenix Tool -> Security problem; flash with USB flashback.

As I understood Phoenix Tool’s result (Dynamic method) should work fine even with ‘security problem’ (?) and it can be flashed using MB’s USB flashback button (?)
Is there any potential problems with flashed 'missing checksums' BIOS (beeps, messages every bootup) ? Will Phoenix tool's author(s) fix that issue someday?

Which is same as the modding using MMTool.
