Hi guys. Been messing about with Hackintosh on my Sabertooth Z77. Since Apple gave Mavericks away I though I would have a look. Installed Snow Leopard, updated to get the APP Store then downloaded a genuine FREE MAC OS X Mavericks. Used the usual tools to get it going but found trouble making it boot properly. Reading about I found out the Sabertooth BIOS may need patching. Summet to do with the power saving mode, I think. Just wondering if anybody had used the "PMPatch" tool and have any input on this matter. Bit worried I may FEK things up..
Nice one. So can I ask you some more question regarding this. I guess you have other experience of using the PMPatch tool. Does this patch make a lot of difference in enabling MAC OS X to boot properly. Is it possible for you to do me a favour. Would you mind running the BIOS file through the PMPatch tool again, then take a screen shot of the result and post it up here for me to look at. Then I can compare your result with the one I got. With the risks involved in BIOS modding I would rather do it my self, if you know what I mean. I am gunna run my modded SLIC2.1 BIOS through the PMPatch tool.
