ASUS Slic OEM Table Error!

    the RSDT oemid and table id don't match the ones in the SLIC table.

    Is that the problem of only ASUS notebooks? Is there a way 2 activate that f*cking windows 7 on F3T? Or do I have 2 go and buy a new notebook?:)

    SSV3, tick three checkbox Replace in Advanced dynamic options should work

    uncheck Only Replace OEM ID in additional tables

    thank you for ur help, I modded bios according 2 ur instruction, but still windows 7 doesn't see SLIC 2.1, though it presents in rw-everything. BTW I flashed bios with a built-in utility EasyFlash, in other thread I read that people used afudos with the key /all and it work 4 them. Is there any differece between these two methods of flashing? Is it safe?

    I´ve tried it but it doesn´t work! :( We need a Slic 2.1 from ASUS! But I can´t understand what´s the problem! Thanks anyway!

    Seems like the RSDT entry remained unchanged _ASUS_ -> should be HPQOEM...
    If you are sure the mod is ok, flash it from DOS with overwrite and clearcmos parameters.
