    Hi bravo64 !

I have the solution for you if you really need it that much :)

Since i have been involved with audio related mastery since the early 90's i do have some NICE stuff up my sleeve.....

The one program that do convert *.snd is a old program that have been my savior many times and its called - AWAVE - by FMJ-Software.

It comes in 2 flavours - Awave Audio and Awave Studio - go for the Awave Studio.

The revision history goes back to - 1993 - so i can, with the hand on my heart - say the you can safely DITCH all the nuevo stuff around.

If you use the software, buy the software.

    Additional notes:

It can be one of the two following *.snd types ::

    Facts:

    1)

The file extension has the following meaning:

    • .S Signed data
      .U Unsigned data
      .B Byte (8-bit) data
      .W Word (16-bit) data
      .DW DWord (32-bit) data
.SND is the same as .UB
.RAW is the same as .SB

Assumes 22khz mono, Intel byte order when reading. You can then use the waveform properties Source tab to change any parameters that are not correct.

    Features:

    • 8 / 16 / 32-bits.

    2)

The MPC series samples supported should include MPC 60, MPC 2000, MPC 2000XL and MPC 3000 using OS versions 1, 2, and 3. Only OS v3 style files are supported for saving.

    Features:

    • 12/16-bits, mono/stereo, name.
