Audit mode in a VM?

    Is there another way to start Win Server 2012 R2 in audit mode other than sending CTRL+SHIFT+F3 in OOBE screen? I'm trying to install it in a VM and the VNC client isnt able to send CTRL+SHIFT+F3.

    I use the on-screen keyboard to accomplish this
