Thanks for your help. According to you, it is possible to add "the oem logo" with this command ??? THX
All I did after your instructions and when I want to make the ISO file to me appears the following notice: This version of C: \ oscdimg.exe is not compatible with the version of Windows, you use. In the system of your computer to verify that need x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact on the software publisher. On the PC I have Windows7 x32 Slovenia language.
thanks untermensch. you did said what to do with $OEM$ folder ?? what do "oobe" mean? and I don't have drive space to copy my iso content to C drive, what do i do? but I have the iso file in D drive.
thank you, I wrote some questions to you: (sorry if some of them are noob questions) olease reply. Can I use the key 22TKD-*****-*****-*****-***** oem slp key during the instalation of my originll MSDN ultimate / enterprise iso (without your autoactivate files) if you loader install the hp cert why do you put the cert in $OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32\OEM ? also there is not any files in $OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32\OOBE\INFO so why do you make that directory? does it use your new 1.0.0.9 loader? what does oscdimg.exe do? does there will be any oem slp keys for enterprise edition (in vista there were not any). JFMuggs- I guess 1 is volume edition so it will accept MAK and KMS keys and 0 is accept retail/oem coa keys.
untermensch please answer my questions. I guess VL=1 is making your release VOLUME and VOLUME editions does not have the option to enter the key during the installation. but you dont need to change RETAIL to OEM since it's only change the EULA.
thank you untermensch! I will test it soon and see if my windows 7 is activated after installation. wow I thought you use HP SLIC in your loader since you said your loader is based on hazar grldr and hazar use HP slic. so the edited grldr is your work? the loader is your work? also can you PM me please the open source files of your 1.0.0.9 loader? you can just "extract" the OEMSLP key from the royalty OEM iso (from boot.wim). so I don't think there wil be any problem to get the key. (I thing you can get the key also from preactivated machine but I dont know how to do this). about the RETAIL to OEM change, OK I did not test it with the retail. and thank you for answering my questions.
But all you have to do is run the Magical Jelly Bean Key Finder (or one of many others), and you've got the key.
JFMuggs- yes you are right. you can also retrieve the key without install - from the OEM iso, but it's complicated and hard method.
The error you received was due to something you did, not due to leaving [Channel] = Retail (I just tested it). You can also leave [VL] = 0. It will prompt for a key, but just leave it blank and it will get set when SetupComplete.cmd executes when Setup is complete. IOW, you do not need to change ei.cfg. The only change you really need to make to a Retail or OEM disc to make it automatically activate (on a system with a SLIC 2.1 BIOS) is add the $OEM$ folders: $OEM$\$$\SETUP\SCRIPTS\SetupComplete.cmd containing: Code: @ECHO OFF cscript //NOLOGO %SYSTEMROOT%\System32\slmgr.vbs -ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-***** and $OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32\OEM\cert.xrm-ms When Setup completes, your Windows 7 will be fully activated.
Hey I just tested it on my dvd in vmware and it worked but it put the theme into some unknown theme(basic i think), not aero??? Is there a way to tell it in the install dvd what theme to start up in?
If I want to run another cmd command to install a reg file (for the logo thing), how and where would I do that? I put the logos in that correct folder but they did not show up. Please let me know how to do this Thanks
