autoplay

    my autoplay is disable how to enable in win 7 cause there is no such reg entry in local machine like vista plz update me to the reg entry in win7 i cannot autoplay my dvd or usb need quick help

    yep i alreday chek that out in vista there is a option related to that in local security policies does nebody knows hwere is that in windows7?

    It's located in Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Autoplay

    you may also check your group policies settings.
    start -> run -> gpedit.msc

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdrom]
"AutoRun"=dword:00000001
    that enables or disables autorun (also called auto insert notification). This is NOT the same as Auto Play. Usually setting this key makes it so you have to enumerate the volume each time you put in a CD/DVD.
