Im using Anti Theft (Former Theft Aware) on my phone, great piece of app and it used to cost but now its free when Avast and TA merged together.. Uninstalled the Mobile security app though, I really dont want all that using my battery too much.
Avast has much more features than just antivirus but to use those features you need to ROOT you device... Some features are like App management, firewall, Anti-Theft....
Same here I have been running it for a couple month and it seems legit so far. Free..... no complaint on my end!!!
I have used Avast on my LG optimus 1 and it was kind of OK until you start using its anti theft features, it will start sending unwanted sms every time you start your phone the location thing does not work without the GPS activated etc etc.
I have been using avast since 2008, on CNET it was like one of the top 10 antiviruses, now its #1, i knew what i was doing now for the mobile edition although i never add antiviruses on my phone since there is no such risk of viruses (except adware that can be removed by removing the app) never had an issue but its realy good having it if you have a strong phone with lots of memory to waste, personally it seems useless on an android
