Qemu & Bochs on Windows (old Windows) is not good because no acceleration. Best for Windows (old Windows) is MS VPC 2007 - you can even run WinXP with AWARD bios Qemu (virt-manager) is best on Linux host e.g. Debian 9. Bochs is only good for run bios or DOS
Thx. This bios also works in MS VPC 2007 Yes, I noticed it a long time ago when I was looking for bios
I even found one that worked with the qemu Ipxe. I can send you that one it dosent have a modern menu but it works better Edit: I meant qemu IPXE not just qemu
Oh yeah Ive also been trying to run the optiplex gx150 bios which is phoenix. however despite having the exact same chipset as the previous motherborad the i815 and supporting the exact same cpu as the other one it still dosent work. adding -d guest_reboots to qemu shows me that its just rebooting over and over. Id like to believe that this is a just a cpu problem but it could be because its a phoneix bios and not award. If anyone could help me or get it running in qemu bochs or any virtualization tool that would be amazing
