    Hi Yen,

I have a problem calculating an Award Bios, i am trying the manual insertion of the SLIC but i encountered a problem calcularing the address to call the SLIC info...

Inserted nocompressed ASUS.bin, checked the offset in bios wich is at 639D0
I then sum the FFFC0000h + 639D0H =1000239D0 as you can see this is what it got confuse, the result has too many digit to be inserted in the 4 bytes i add in the ACPI.BIN.....

Can you help me with this, as i think you are too bussy becouse last post i asked you help you dint anwser me .......

sorry if i botter to much.... happy holidays for you and your family.

    Hi,:)

the calculation formula depends on the size of your bios. What size is your bios?

    O.K.

    Calculation for 512 kb: FFF80000h + 639D0h = FFFE39D0h !;)

    D0 39 FE FF.

    For 1 Mb use FFF00000h + Xh

To check it 100% I need the original bios as well.
I've seen that it contains a GV3 module which may cause trouble, so I suggest to you to stick with a ISA2 or ISA mod.
