Hi all, I have a problem with awdflash for dos. I have already used it to flash my Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe with a slic 2.1 bios, which is not working very well. Whenk I try to flash another bios awdflash just says that it can't flash this bios, because it's older... Is there any way to force awdflash to flash it anyway? or is there anything else I can do?
These are all the switches for 8.60C: Sorry, but it doesnt look like there is a force switch in AWDFlash. (Unless one has been implemented in a newer version.)
Most asus motherboards have built-in flash routine in the BIOS called ezflash which works often when awdflash does not for modded BIOS. Be aware some BIOS cannot downgrade after upgrade, especially when the PROM layout is changed...check for downgrade ability on the asus website for your particular BIOS version.
