    Hey guys,

could someone tell me how to make embedded registry filter work in windows xp (pro)?
I've successfully copied the fbwf + ramdisk/regfilter drivers, dlls, and registry keys to xp.

Everything even regfilter so to speak works, but in event viewer it says with ID:1, the registry filter was unable to communicate with the ramdisk volume. Now, the ramdisk volume that regfilter uses shows up as a not connected device (id:45). Ramdisk controller works fine. The only registry setting i cant modify is that this volume should be in mountedpoints2 key, with a data and "generated" dword true.

Can someone tell me, what exactly initializes/autoconnect this ramdisk volume when booting?

    Thx for the answers.

Great! I found the solution. Now i have a xp pro sp3 w/ posready updates (simplix list) + tested ewf / fbwf+regfilter.
    Solution was btw:
RUNDLL32.EXE regfinit.dll,InitializeRegistryFilter. Add new hardware window immediately popped up with ramdisk volume driver to install.
