I have a legit msdn serial for office 2007. After I activate it, is there a way I can backup up the activation? I reformat my computer a lot,and don't want to have to offically activate each time.

    Thanks

If you have a legit key, you can activate it 10 times online, and 25 times with phone activations. And if you have a MSDN account, you have access to 10 licenses (or 2 if you have BizSpark), so you have to reformat your computer ALLOT if you run out of activations.

And why not install Windows + Office and whatever software you use, and then take a Disk Image, with etc Acronis True Image, Norton Ghost etc, and then load the image when you reformat your computer?

Goto %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA\ (type it in run)
    and copy file.bpc & opa12.dat

Copy these onto the new install after installing office 2007, overwriting (must be same PC).

    This should restore 2007 activation.
