    Hi

I need to backup the BIOS and Firmware for an Onboard SAS conroller and then apply it to another motherboard.

Can someone give me pointers on how this could be done?

Have been reading the guides, but these seem to refer to the main BIOS.

Motherboard is an Asus KFSN4 with SAS controller

    Any help appreciated, Thanks

Most likely that the RAID BIOS is part of the actual main BIOS (just a module in it)

You could probably open main BIOS & check what module it is

As to applying to a different mobo? It would mean that the other mobo's BIOS would also need to be edited

Not impossible, but might be a bit tricky (especially that DESKTOPS DO NOT HAVE EASY RECOVERY)
