    Hello,
i have a wndows 2016 server installed on HDD (Raid1) and i tried to make an OS migration on SSD. For some reason it doesn't work so i decided to make a fresh install on the SSD. once done unfortunatelly i can't activate windows with my licence key (i bought it on Ebay for a few $ in april).
My system on the HDD is working fine, so i'm wondering if there is an existing tool able to backup the activation data and restrore it on my SSD ?
the only thing i replaced on this system are the HDD, nothing else...

    Thank you for your help.

First of all, you need BREAK the RAID1 first then clone from HDD0 (or HDD1) that has good data, then clone from HDD to SSD.. that it..

hi, thank you for your answer. i will try that as a last solution.
i found that Microsoft Toolkit 2.6.4 is supporting windows 2016 and has a backup/restore function ! but unfortunately when i do a restore windows is still not activated. :(
