My battery goes off (ie laptop shuts down) when 30% of battery charge is left. But when i restart my system it shows de battery power as 0%.wat shal i do?
I will assume that when you restart you're on AC power because if the battery was actually 0% you would not be able to power up on battery power. Does the battery charge back up to 100% while on AC power? Does it hold the charge when not in use? If the battery turns out to need replacement you can rebuild it yourself if you are somewhat of a handy guy.. Open it up along the seem with a heavy duty box cutter. Take a fee photos if you have a bad memory. Buy a new set of cells. Rewire exactly the way it originally was from a drawing and notes you made and the photos. You may solder instead of tack welding as the original probably was. Seal it back up with Super Glue along the seem. You might find a whole kit on-line for your battery model. I've done it several times,so you can too and very cheaply. If you use the notebook mostly on AC power, then charge your battery to about 40% and remove it until needed.Store it in a cool place.
I find it funny how people just buy laptops these days with no intention of actually moving it! If they do move it, its most likely they are doing so because there is the convenience of being able to move it, not because they actually need to... lol
+1 for another batty if it is old and dry. Mine always shows 100% but the biatch wont live more than 3 minutes away from the wall, nomsayin!!!
