    I installed win7 x64 but it didn't work well so i installed win7 x86 instead.

Anyway, the problem here is, when I install the first time, I chose the system default region (U.S.) during installation and got the MSNBC TV stuff and Sports channel in Windows Media Center. (I am in the UK)

When I reinstalled the 2nd time, I just chose U.K. to save me the hassles later. And who knows the said channels are gone from WMC!
    (Apparant 'US only' feature)

There seems to be no way to add those back to WMC. And i've spent the last 4 hours putting stuff back to my pc. I don't want to install Win7 again! Any registry hack whatever can do the trick?

May be very very basic but try setting the time back. Also try setting the regional settings to US. Everything that = UK set to US.

Already tried and didn't work. I believe the WMC is set to its UK configuration during win7 installation so merely changing time zone, regional settings and everything to US post-installation doesn't work.

I do find the sports dll in the program folder folder tho. So if there's anyway to tweak the settings...?
