Liquor for me. Combined with soda like coke sometimes. I hate beer and wine so don't come with that to me..
Versatility wise beer takes the race hands down. Source of vitamins, minerals and flavonoids. Beer is rich in many vitamins of the B group and in such minerals as magnesium. Barley and hops used in the production of beer are rich in flavonoids, which have powerful antioxidant effects. Beer consumption may reduce the risk of developing kidney stones. Finnish researches found that there was a 40% lower risk of kidney stones in beer drinkers. Good enough for me
Beer, although it's really expensive here because it's taxed to all buggery. So much so, people are going to other forms of alcohol and the bulk beer market is shrinking. My three favourite beers are Coopers Sparkling Ale, Coopers Pale Ale, and Coopers Best Extra Stout.
I like beer, Hard Cider, Some Wines, and Liquor. @Sid_16: if you ever decide to try hard liquor, here are some simple rules to keep from getting sick. 1 ) Don't mix. That's the easiest way to get sick. 2 ) Eat a little something before you drink. 3 ) Pace yourself. Liquor is sneaky, and can creep up on you. 4 ) Hydrate. Drink a little water at regular intervals. Enjoy, :Miki.
Nothing i am teetotal. Glad too, as alcohol is horrible, and i am glad i do not drink it. Since 2000 or so.
All three for me, Red wine is my favourite though. I really enjoy Rioja. I enjoy Dutch and German beer. Jack Daniels is also a favourite.
@Alextheg: Is there any specific brand of Rioja that you would recommend? I enjoy Taylor Fladgate Port from time to time.
Campo Viejo Rioja Reserva is rather nice. If you feel like spending a little extra on a bottle then Faustino I or V are well worth a glass or two.
