    Hi Friends:

    I have Windows 8 Pro with Media Center and I can play a DVD-Movies without problem...but I can't play a Blu-Ray Movies

What is the Best Blu-Ray Player for Windows 8 Pro with Media Center?

    Options:

    1. CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra 12 (time-limited free trial, paid update, Blu-ray menu/3D support)
    2. Mac Blu-ray Player (no-time-limited free evaluation while watermarked when Blu-ray playback, free update, no Blu-ray menu/3D support now)
    3. Corel WinDVD Pro 11 (time-limited free trial, paid update, Blu-ray menu/3D support)
    4. Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 5.3.1.172 (time-limited free trial, paid update, Blu-ray menu/3D support)
    5. VLC Media Player 2.1.0 20120923
    6. iDeer Blu-ray Player 1.0.1.1029
    7. AnyDVD & AnyDVD HD 7.1.0.0
    8. UFUSoft Blu-ray Player
    9. PotPlayer 1.5.28025
    10. Media Player Classic Black Edition 1.0.3.1 Build 1239
    11. KMPlayer 3.4.0.59

Although it isn't cheap for a lifetime license, my preference is to use AnyDVD HD. Then you can just play the relevant files without bothering with menus or warnings.

Another option is MakeMKV, although in that case you have to rip the disc's content to MKV before you can view it.

I have ever gotton a UFUSoft Blu-ray Player (only $39) running on my windows 7 PC, which plays Blu-ray disc well, but I don't know whether it works with windows 8, it has free trial version, maybe you can download and have a try.

    yep, powerdvd it is

It integrates into win8 media center and works a treat, even turns 2d to 3d for me.

    It's by far the best.

its a stupid shame microsoft didn't include bluray into mce, such sooks their hd format didn't take off.
