Hallo everyone, as per topic, I would like to hear your opinion about which sw you use for cd/dvd burn. Personally I was using nero like most of the ppl i suppose, but after v7 it becomes --- well you all know, no need to go further --- so I was searching for a good replacement. I tried *everything* on the market, free and trial but I found almost nothing which become near as my beloved Nero 6 :-\ Today I use multiple apps to do the job: Ultraiso and ImgBurn. Those two are very good programs and covers 85% of what nero does and works extremely well in Windows 7 (x64). Ok let's hear your opinion and experiences.
I was never a big Nero fan... I currently, and have as long as I can recall, use: ImgBurn + MagicISO + Alcohol 52%/120%
Used to like Nero until Nero 8. It seemed incredibly sluggish with Vista. Haven't tried Nero with Windows 7 but I have tried Roxio Creator 2009. It works pretty well , does .iso and much, much more. You can find it on torrents.. For specialized needs: AnyDVD and CloneDVD works great (as always) on Windows 7.
Install nero 8, and Ultraiso. Working for me. Fine softs! Not install nero 9. it is s**t. Same problems.
using nero version 7 - 7.5.13.5 (came with my dvd burner)with no problems.never liked the 8 or 9 versions.didnt like the new interface.tried the free trial of 9 but removed it and went back to the one i use now.they have a free version out(the links i posted in software on this site)but it only burns data cds and dvds.always use dvd fab platinum for backing up movies.its the best.have a good one.
nero 9 works fine here.. just don't install all the crap modules that it comes with to cut down on bloat.
