best cheapest backup hard drive bang for the buck

    I was thinking western digital green or red.. I know there's lots of other ones. I'm a little wary of open box and refurbished but not scared of it.

    i assume u talking bout external USB.....to me the cheapest is the WD western digital with decent performance...now u talking about green or red your talking about 6 to 14 TB monster...but their slow and expensive.

    well u be surprise how fast 4 TB can be fill up specially if your to save movies and music u will fill that up quick.

    yes but that's about all I actually need to backup in order to work with my other drives which are 1 TB each. (I have more space than that but I need at least a 4GB back up)

    edit: I hope things will stream properly from the router. if not one of my computers will be overloaded (they are old PCs)
