Best codec pack

    what is the best codec pack you recommend me to use for windows 7?

    I have been a fan for Klite mega codec pack for years, but lately I noticed that the videos tend to hag for a sec or two when I use the slider to fast forward to a certain point in the movie (mainly pr0n movies)

    I need something that will enable me to watch these movies and get instant response when i fast forward to a certain point using the navigation slider......

    I installed VLC Media Player and was amazed by its clean interface / responsiveness! nice! :)

    Same issue with k-lite, might give VLC a go also. :)

    Yeah since i started using VLC media player iv'e never looked back never run WMP since VLC along with ConvertXtoDVD enough for all my video needs :)

    Thanks for the VLC suggestion Guys!

    IT solved my problem, vidoes never hang now! i can fast forward my Pr0N to any point i want with no pauses :p and VLC's interface is also clean like MPC

    the best one is K-Lite MEGA Pack !
    i haven't any problem with multimedia. audio/video synchro is fine

    I think K-Lite codec is pretty bloated. They install too many codecs IMO.

    I usually do an installation of CCCP + QT Lite + RealAlternative for any fresh PC without codecs. This should be good enough to run all the files you have online.

    CCCP should work for most media files...
    you don't want to install to many codec (duplicate code) which can cause conflict between codec

    and coreavc is good h.264 codec

    just i mind... installing codec pack sometimes still have issue with wmp...
    because wmp pick codec automatically and no way we control the codec... thats why people prefer using media player classic
