Best feature of Windows 7?

Best feature? It doesn't have Metro UI

Basically Windows 7 is Windows Vista done right. Feature wise I wouldn't say it offers anything over Vista that would be worthwhile to you, except for better speed and reliability.

I believe you can go from Vista to Windows 8 if you wait a couple of months. If you are going to pay to upgrade your OS, Windows 7 really isn't 'worth it' now since it will cost you a lot more than the upgrade to Windows 8. Windows 8 performs even better than Windows 7, and should be fine on your existing hardware.

 

I have installed W7 on quite a few systems over a couple of years and the callback for general system problems is low whereas Vista was a PITB,so on that stat alone W7 wins just backup the fresh install and generally you will rarely use it, oh and it has `Fax and scan` lol

 

'Cause it's Windows Seven. Everything you need at your fingertips.

 

Anythings better than Windows Vista, i'd rather use DOS Shell
