What do you mean by easy recovery?

Well, if you read the thread in the link, you'll see that one of the mentioned apps is "easy recovery pro". But that app only supports Vista. And allthough it should at least work on win7 x86, it definitely won't work on win7 x64.

The rest of the apps mentioned in that thread are all win7 compatible.

    What a shame :(

Hope they come up with a newer version that supports Windows 7 :(

I am using teh 64-Bit Version of Windows 7

Anyway, I am trying a program called Restorer 2000 Pro at the moment, if that doesn't find the required file, I will try Recuva FTW

    Thank you

Yeah, it sucks cause that is one magnificant recovery app. When they finally came with Vista support, win7 was allready out.
I guess they'll have support for win7 when win8 is on the shelves

If you have still been writing to the drive after formatting you won't be able to recover the file you can unformat a drive if nothing has been written to it.
