In windows 8 i just disabled uac and everything worked fine but in windows 10 i can't do it coz it will mess with a lot of stuff and windows won't even work as it should.

so right now i can't even download files to where i want using the browser(firefox), gives a no permission msg to save to the specified local disc, when i run a download manager/firefox as "run as admin" it gives another bs error msg.

What's the best way to make w10 behave like w8 did with uac disabled and not be annoyed by permissions msg?

going back to other os isn't an option here.

is UAC what keeps me from changing permissions on items owned by "trusted installer"? I change ownership yet still cant change permissions. Used to be able do this on 7

from what i've read it isn't a good idea to change ownership since it can generate other issues

    i am here to help~

Paste into a text file anything.txt and rename as a anything.reg file ..
    double click it...
remember not to disable windows firewall .. win10 don't like it to be disable... hope this help!
everything will be silent with uac enable... can be use as administrator built in as well ...

Well, permission messages within the IE "save as" dialog are caused by Protected Mode or Extended Protected Mode, not by UAC, since IE is running at "low" (Protected Mode) or even "sandbox" (Extended Protected Mode) integrity - not at "medium" (UAC) integrity. I think, you don't refer to Edge thing, because you can't run it with UAC disabled.
"Run as Admin" command is obsolete, when UAC is disabled, because then everything is "running as admin" ie. with "high" integrity.

hmm not running as admin.. can it let u run all the metro app with uac enable but not keep popup ...
if want run as admin all the time.. use administrator account built in same as me...
    run lusrmgr.msc tick enable administrator....
log out and login as administrator.... done........
i always use admin account i hate the normal admin account... if cannot manage to use it i skip win10... but looks like i will upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7

I want to be Administrator with my Windows 10 too, but I noticed even simple apps don't work... (Modern UI) as Calculator, or even Edge (the new browser).

I don't know why Microsoft try to force to choose between UAC and Modern UI apps, technically we could use Modern UI apps, for example as the "Settings" that works even without UAC...

Builtin Administrator have the same limits : you can't use any Modern UI apps, even Edge.
Administrator must use Internet Explorer or an alternate browser.

I don't know how, but it seems you don't use exactly same reg values than me.

I will try that after work, thank you ;)

I tried your reg values : with a "normal" Administrator account, I am not full administrator (because of EnableLUA that must be set to 0 to disable UAC).

With the super "Administrator" account, I am administrator (with or without your reg values) but I can't use any Modern UI app (Windows tells me something similar to "Impossible to open Microsoft Edge with the integrated Administrator account" ; I translated from french).
