    Hello MDL,

I removed my graphic card and RAM's (to clean a bit) and then did a boot reboot because the OS couldn't start, and when I could start the normally the OS it say that is not activated... so I was thinking if there is another way to activate W7 Pro better, since all of the files that I find are full of malware with the name "Windows Loader v2.2.2", also I cannot find the original one either...

    I have the version: Windows 7 Professional - SP1 - Build 7601

I'm using temporary the "slmgr -rearm" command, but only can be used 3 times and each time for 30 days max.

    Thank you.

Oh, thank you. Is still the best way to activate W7? I just scanned the file on virustotal and get 46/72? Also my antivirus detect it as malware. At least the hash didn't change, looks like is the original.

The AV's are giving (paid for) false positives for at least 18 years now, if the hashes are verified it is the real deal and yes, it still works.

Perfect, thank you very much for the information. At virustotal there are a total of +997 Community Score points of the .exe, lmao. I never see so much positives score from the community on a file that show 46 negatives AV's... Now that I see that, make sense what you say. :D

I activated Windows 7 Pro (64-bit) online just recently in 2025 after swapping out a motherboard. I have a retail license that I bought many years ago that still works. If you can put the hardware back exactly as before, there should be no reason to re-activate it. I also made a backup of my activation license (tokens.dat file) in case my license is accidentally lost or overwritten.

You might come to a certain conclusion what this tells you about those 46 companies and their security software ? There is no one on the planet, except those companies, that has ever had a problem with that loader...
