Install 7 Pro or Ultimate, activate with Daz loader > upgrade to 10 Pro

READ UP ON WINDOWS 10 ACTIVATION

If you install 7 pro or ult, activate with... (I hate typing the same thing twice...) daz/windows loader, then upgrade to 10 Pro, your machine will be genuinely registered with MS servers, and no longer need to upgrade from a previous OS to activate

From then on, you can clean install 10 and it will activate

Or do the genuineticket trick

OK, to cut straight to the chase about activation. Windows 10 "looks at" your hardware and registers it with Microsoft. That's what MS calls Hardware ID, or HWID. Once that's done, that computer is permanently "activated". If you swap out enough hardware though, you create a new computer and HWID is lost. Once HWID is established, you can wipe the drive and reinstall Windows 10 and it will be activated. Soooooo ...
1.) Install Windows 7
2.) Activate with Daz loader
3.) Upgrade to Windows 10 using the Media Creation tool
4.) Create the installation media as the tool allows
5.) Wipe your drive
6.) Reinstall Windows 10 using the media created in step 4.). This last step will be your activated "clean" install of Windows 10.

It does help enormously to research what you're trying to do. That way, you'll not only have an advantage when people start talking specifics, but you'll likely be better able to understand the whole process. Or as MrMagic said, "READ SOME THREADS".

 

i think he means something to these lines

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this method will only work till the Windows Free Upgrade period ends, right?

Reason I'm asking this, is because I plan on building a new PC but it won't be till Aug/Sept, and by then the "Free Upgrade" period will be over.

 

My existing PC is a laptop, and I'm building a new desktop in two to three months. I want to install Windows 10 on the completely new desktop. Will the method still work 3 months from now?

Just install Pro clean and use a KMS solution. I prefer KMS_VL_ALL.

We've been using DAZ's loader for years, way before free Win 10, anyway it is activating Win 7, not 10.

Now that I really think about it, unless KMS Changes, he will have to pay for it, sorry.

Daz loader 7 > Upgrade to 10 only works for 10 activation atm because of the free upgrade, and MS servers see daz activated 7 as genuine

Once the free upgrade is over, 10 won't activate when upgraded from 7, genuine or otherwise, KMS will be the only way, unless MS start a new free upgrade offer

Yea you can KMS activate 10, but it won't be digital entitlement (Hardware activated on MS servers), just the normal 180 days we have with 8.x

Atm, if we use Daz to activate 7, then upgrade to 10, we get hardware activation for that machine, and 10 genuinely activates against MS servers for the life of that hardware

But that will stop working once the free upgrade offer ends in July
