k, heres a screenshot... Notice the mouse pointer just under apple symbol.? ok, cant get focus on that..tried clicking into it, tried ctrl-g even tried TWICE deleting the image...it allways ends up up there. The first image was ok, worked great, got mac installed then it couldnt find kernel or summat.. anyways, reinstalled thinking id done something to partition...no mouse.. No mouse since, deleted image twice, called it something different every time. standard win-7 on standard vm workstation 7 bet ya cant work it out
errrrr... no mouse chief mouse pointer is there, just cant get it to work... kb is fine, just no mouse... had it working as normal up to the point of first failed boot, so deleted image. redone everything, now cannot get a mouse cheers CW
Your mouse just isn't 'connected'. The pointer is always there, that doesn't really have anything to do with your mouse.
ok, so how do i install a kext file for usb io stuff when i dont got a mousey to clicky????? got it working briefly, have no clue how...HOWEVER, when i went up, mouse went down, when i went down, mouse went up (mind OUT of the gutter please guys.....) so got mac osx installed....now i have no mouse at all... suggestions oh mighty guru's???
lol...nope i managed to get a file called iousbfamily kext that apparently will work. after some fiddling i managed to use kb to get to settings and under mouse it says no mouse connected.. would it detect a non mac mouse? i tried unplugging/replugging the usb mouse while vm mac was working and mac was the active screen, that didnt work either i just dont know how to install kext file without a mouse.. any ideas guys?
