If you like the Windows 8's Explorer (with its ribbon) then you might want to try Better Explorer on your Windows 7 desktop. Better Explorer is a replacement for the standard Windows Explorer with more features for more convenience. It's still under development (C#) but its goal is to have all features of Windows 8's Explorer + extra functions : - Collapsible ribbon interface - Conditional tabs (Image Tools, Drive Tools ...) - BreadCrumbBar - Tabs (useful for dragging-and-dropping files or folders) - Conditional select + select all files with same type - Tools for managing archives - Image tools (crop image, resize image are planned) - Music tools (a basic music player is planned) - multiple instances (for drag-and-drop) This Project is designed for use with Windows 7 (On older operating systems it WILL NOT work). well...if you want/love metro(/use a tablet) , use the application you posted. Better Explorer's intention is to serve a better experience for users with Computer. We've been talking and in the future there will be more and more "special" features [check out the bugtracker, more will come - or you suggest something: we are open for any request]. for now, you can compare better explroer with the windows 8 explorer + additional features like tabs, archive support,... As already told, Beta 2's release will be soon. I can't give a exact date. (you can set a hyperlink in the OP of you want... would be easier for visitors)

If you request the .exe file through /%realpath%/%SETUP% you will get an error and you'll be redirected to the main page. This is to prevent bad bots and crawlers. So: we load the file from /%realpath%/%SETUP% via php (download.php when you click the green button (THE IMPORTAND THING: you need the have a html5 browser with javascript enabled!!) and the site will respond the file, if you are not blacklisted in Google Project Honey Pot and Spamhaus Blocklist. Otherwise, check your PC for viruses and trojans that might have caused a blacklisting of your PC/Network.

The developers are currently working on the Sharing options : Dropbox, Google Drive, FTP and WebDAV servers. Later will be added SkyDrive, Box.Net, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, YouTube, Flickr ... (at least, it's planned)
